I used a series of about 7 or 8 photographs to digitally compose this wonderful image of Heinz Field, home of the Pittsburgh Steelers and Pitt Panthers. This was a preseason game against the Greenbay Packers held on August 11, 2007. It was a night game and the sun was setting in the west to give the stadium a beautiful backdrop. If you have ever been to Heinz field I am sure this piece of art will evoke some pretty fond memories. I always place one or two of my banners on the railing of the gondola and stand there to view the games. This is virtually the same scene I see at every home game. Lately, I have been hanging my Big Ben Godsend banner which I digitally placed on the opposite gondola of the art print.
The "Chief" is bigger than life on the Jumbo-Tron and, as always, has his big old stogie in his mouth. If you look to the bottom right you can see into the Great Hall.
This is a limited edition 0f 950 giclee on fine art print. The resolution of this print is 150 pixels per inch and is much clearer than your monitor can show you.
Dave Crawley of KDKA TV News did a short video segment on my banners last season. If you would like to view the video simply click on this link
