This is my latest oil painting of the mighty grizzly bear searching for a place to hibernate. The face you see in the roots and rocks is that of Sitting Bear, a great Indian Chief, whose spirit guides the bear to a successful winter's sleep. It is 36 x 48 inches plus the beautiful oak frame and liner.
