| This started as a painting on location piece and I finished up when we returned from our vacation at PEI. We have visited a couple of times and would love to summer there every year if possible. If you want to take a step back in time where the gas station guy still wants to know if you'd like your oil checked then you must go. It's a great vacation if you have small children with a sense of wonder. I couldn't help but think of Monet and his "haystack series" when I put the colors in the hay. This painting has found a great home with Jim in San Diego. Jim and his son fished the waters of Prince Edward Island. |
