I painted
I painted the original oil on canvas for my friend and his new wife after their Honeymoon in Hawaii. He told me about the Akaka ("curved water") Falls with a 420 foot vertical drop and the absolutely breathtaking view. I used numerous photos that he took himself and arrived at this composition. I put colorful vegetation that is native to the area in the foreground to give some sort of perspective on the Falls. The print is a fine art giclee print on canvas and there are only 200 that were made. They are signed and numbered by myself, Fred Carrow, and are printed on canvas. The complete image is 20 inches by 30 inches, is varnished, and will frame up nicely to bring back fond memories of your trip to Hawaii. We were so impressed with Chris and Mandy's photos that my wife and family have decided that we must go there someday....hopefully sooner than later.
