Tom Petty "I Won't Back Down"

It was in the summer of 1979 that I first saw Tom Petty and the Heart Breakers perform at Legend Valley Amphitheater near Columbus, Ohio. I fell in love with his music then and have enjoyed his creative song writing ever since. With his untimely passing I was deeply saddened and was moved artistically to put together this memorial mixed media piece entitled "I Won't Back Down". The original is 18 x 24 on a very textured canvas board with various layers of cheesecloth, gesso, modeling paste and burlap lettering...there are even vintage music sheets worked into the painting. I have also reproduced the artwork as a giclee print. It is available in two sizes 10 x 14 image with a 1 inch white border (this one) and also as a larger 16 x 20 inch image with and additional 2 inch border.
